There’s no question that advanced medical systems require uninterrupted, high-quality
electrical power to assure acceptable levels of operation and performance. Even more importantly, continuous power can help facilitate patient management if an electrical disturbance occurs during a critical procedure. Most healthcare facilities implement generators and other back-up power systems to keep critical equipment and facilities functional during an outage. Philips Healthcare enhances these contingency systems with our power solutions program.
A Philips Power Specialist can conduct a survey to identify vulnerabilities in your power supply for key monitoring, diagnostic and imaging systems. When appropriate, Philips will recommend, install and guarantee Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), power conditioners and other devices to maintain continuous power for attached systems. The power solutions program is available to all Philips Healthcare customers in North America.
