Event Review Pro
Event Review Pro, a bundled data management solution, enables system-wide QA/QI and supports continuous CPR training. This breakthrough application provides a robust, insightful view of any resuscitation event, along with built-in easy to use navigation to pinpoint key areas in a specific patient’s code event for learning and improvement.
Philips HeartStart Event Review Pro synthesizes the clinical data from the Philips MRx monitor/defibrillator and/or Philips AEDs with responders’ observations and more, and addresses every element of code response:
- Real-time data capture
- Post-event documentation
- Code review debriefing
- Reporting that informs training as well as providing data for submission to national registries
Event Review Pro contains support for a variety of ALS data types (including invasive pressure, temperature, Q-CPR™ data, vitals trending) and multi-waveform viewing.
Real-time code data capture in the hospital
With HeartStart Event Review Pro, it is possible to document a code electronically in real time on a tablet PC with a roomy display. The user interface is thoughtfully designed for quick, tap-and-go data entry, including observations, medications, lab results, and interventions.

Event Review Pro captures complete case data, including shocks and audio (if recorded) from all Philips defibrillator/monitors and AEDs. Event Review Pro can also integrate ECGs from multiple defibrillators into one case and forward 12-lead ECGs.
The Philips MRx Monitor/Defibrillator can download data to Event Review Pro using Bluetooth™ wireless technology, a data card and Ethernet cable. With Bluetooth wireless technology, times from the defibrillator and tablet PC are automatically synched when the data are combined.
Powerful Debrief Environment
Use ERPro to debrief code team performance and quickly get to the “teachable moments.”

Reporting for training and quality improvement
Event Review Pro offers a wide range of reports, both at the case level and the institution level:
- Patient Case
- Pre-post shock
- Selected segments
- Events
- Q-CPR Report Card
- Q-CPR Details Export
Case reports (printed or in .pdf format) can be added to the patient’s overall medical chart. They also include much of the data required for submission to the NRCPR. Individual case reports and institutional trend reports can be used to refine the training curriculum for responders and improve code response overall.
