Q: Do the HS1 and FRx self-tests identify this problem?
A: The battery insertion test and the monthly automatic self-test would detect a capacitor problem and elicit a warning. The daily and weekly automatic self tests are not capable of detecting this issue and therefore we are retrieving these AEDs as a precaution.
