A: If it is needed in an emergency, your HS1 or FRx may be used prior to replacement. Pull the “Pull” handle of the HS1 or press the On/Off button of the FRx to start the defibrillator. Follow the instructions provided by the device to apply it to the patient. If for any reason the HS1 or FRx does not perform as expected, perform CPR until another defibrillator can be brought to the scene.
