The XDS Clinical Workstation can be hosted on the XDS bedside device or installed on customer-supplied PCs, and can be integrated into the hospital’s Active Directory. Third-party applications and updates can be installed and configured by hospital IT or biomeds, creating a flexible and fully open clinical workstation that’s software-based and hardware-independent, giving hospital IT the complete freedom to manage it.
The embedded Infineon TPM 1.2® Security Platform addresses HIPAA security requirements by providing industry-standard encryption for clinical data stored locally by third-party applications.
