Xcelera is designed to streamline workflow and improve productivity. It provides the tools your cath lab needs to enhance patient diagnosis and make your day more productive – all from a single workspace.
Excellent image quality and optimum performance
Xcelera’s imaging capabilities deliver optimum quality with speed, convenience and versatility.
Images can be accessed at acquisition speed, up to 60 frames per second. A wide range of viewing parameters such as review speed in relation to acquired frame speed, rotation and angulation data are available.
Xcelera supports export of single frames (bitmap and jpeg) and multi-frames (AVI). Captions and reference indicators can be annotated to still frames and multi-frames can be fully customized.
Xcelera offers both single and dual monitor configurations, allowing comparisons with other modality types if required.
Supports bi-plane XA
Bi-plane acquired cardiovascular X-ray studies can be reviewed in synchronised biplane or de-coupled monoplane mode according to user-preference.
Xper tableside module
Clinical staff at the patients’ side can use this Xper module to controle Xcelera and view all relevant patient images and information on the cath lab’s suspension monitors as they wish.
Cath quantification
For better ease of use and more confident diagnosis, Xcelera includes clinical applications packages powered by PIE Medical’s CAAS 2000 for:
- Left Ventricular Analysis (LVA)
- Quantitative Coronary Analysis (QCA)
- Quantitative Vascular Analysis (QVA)
- Vascular post-processing
These applications are similar to the advanced quantification offered by Philips Allura Xper X-Ray systems and identical measurement results from both are ensured at any desired location.
Xcelera’s advanced quantification and analysis packages allow for analysis of non-Philips-acquired cardiovascular X-ray studies.
Straightforward and easy to use quantification packages support flat detector and image intensifier acquired studies.
Results can be saved as DICOM secondary captures and be added to the clinical report created using the XperIM report generation tool.
Left Ventricular Analysis
The LVA software package allows objective and reproducible assessment of the Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction and Volumes and the Left Ventricular Wall Movements. It incorporates automated and manual delineation in addition to calibration facilities for when absolute volume measurements are required.
Quantitative Coronary Analysis
The QCA package allows objective and reproducible assessment of the severity of coronary narrowing.
Features calibration routines, automated arterial contour detection and computerdefined
reference. Results can be displayed based on geometrical and densitometrical analysis. Hemodynamic parameters and Stenotic Flow Reserve can be quantified.
Quantitative Vascular Analysis
The QVA package provides quantitative analysis of peripheral vessels including the aorta, iliac, renal femoral and carotid arteries with automatic contour detection for vessels up to 50mm.
Fast and easy to work with, with instant results, this package also provides subsegment analysis. Automatic obstruction analysis and a user reference method for obstructions near a bifurcation are available.
Vascular Post Processing
X-ray vascular post-processing operations can be performed and results added to the exam. Functionality includes image subtraction, new mask selection, average mask, pixel shift and landmarking. Supports single and biplane applications.
Interfaces with hemodynamic monitoring and cath lab workflow software
Xcelera connects easily with Xper Information Management (Xper IM) allowing users to combine Xper IM’s hemodynamic monitoring and reporting capabilities with Xcelera’s management viewing, analysis and processing capabilities.
