Philips Medical is showing policymakers how medical technologies mean better care and better outcomes. We’re doing so as part of our fight for adequate reimbursement. We’ve joined with provider, patient, and industry groups to show federal policymakers—in Congress and federal agencies—and state legislatures how reimbursement cuts threaten quality and patient care.

Philips Healthcare is a founding member of the Access to Medical Imaging Coalition—a coalition of some 30 health organizations representing 75,000 patients, physicians, and medical providers. AMIC is working in Washington to stop further cuts in Medicare reimbursement for medical imaging. Read the article | 
| Medical Imaging and Technology Alliance Philips Healthcare works with other imaging manufacturers through MITA to meet with Congress, agencies, the media, and other health organizations in supporting imaging-friendly payment and coverage policies. That includes ads in key publications, and a website devoted to the value of imaging.
