Take advantage of Philips' carefully designed, MRI Education and Training programmes to improve efficiency and productivity and to spend less time with the MRI systems and more time to focus on the patient. The following courses will run in 2007:
Essential Guide to Philips in MRI
The “Essential Guide to Philips in MRI”™ is an off-site training course designed specifically for Philips users, past, present and future, facilitated by Cathy Westbrook and John Talbot in collaboration with Philips Medical Systems. For 2006 the course has been updated and extended to a four-day programme. The first two days are for those with limited MRI experience and covers the fundamental principles of MRI. The second two days are for those with extensive MRI experience who wish to familiarise themselves with more advanced MRI principles, including Philips-specific techniques and new applications. Successful completion of the four-day programme may be accredited towards postgraduate qualifications, or continuing professional development.

22nd - 25th October 2007 – Venue TBC
Practical MR Spectroscopy Course
This one-day course is designed to introduce users to the basic principles of H1 MR Spectroscopy, using a combination of classroom lectures and hands-on practical scanning sessions.

15th May 2007 - London
There will also be a Philips MR User Group Meeting in Warwick, held on the 14th November 2007.
