Doing away with film
The move to DR has never been easier. You can simply convert your analog room to digital technology with our PCR Eleva cassette-based CR (computed radiography) system. This "step-into-digital" system eliminates film by employing a digital cassette and reader hardware to save time and improve workflow. Philips CR fits into your existing room. |

Our Essenta DR digital radiography system is an exciting way to realize the full benefits of DR at an affordable price. You get true DR quality in a system that fits your budget.
- Automatic move to pre-defined positions for the most frequent orthopedic applications
- Multi-resolution UNIQUE (UNified Image QUality Enhancement) image processing
- Eleva work station with RIS connection for workflow improvement
- Compact size for small X-ray rooms
The highly configurable Philips DigitalDiagnost comes with single detector or multi-detector setup to suit any workload. Software and hardware options can be added as demands change. Whatever your needs, Philips DR systems offer efficiency gains over traditional film-based systems.

Mobility, flexibility and compatibility
Our mobile X-ray and fluoroscopy solutions assist in all aspects of orthopedic diagnosis and treatment.
For patients who cannot be moved, the Practix Convenio’s maneuverability is outstanding. This compact unit moves under its own power, with swiveling column, telescopic tube arm, and motor-assisted fine positioning from the tube head for exact positioning.
For interventional procedures our mobile C-arm and universal RF systems deliver exceptional performance. The BV Pulsera mobile C-arm has the imaging clarity and power to see fine details at steep projections, through virtually any patient.

| For procedural planning, using the MultiDiagnost Eleva RF system can help reduce surgery time. 3D weight-bearing images are the key. With Philips technology it is possible to image a weight-bearing knee injury, scanned over 180° while the patient stands. The image is then quickly rebuilt in 3D for immediate review. |
The Eleva user interface, common across all CR, DR as well as RF systems, means technologists can switch between Philips equipment with ease. Integration with our iSite PACS solution provides immediate access to MR, CT and ultrasound images right on the Eleva interface to speed diagnoses and treatment.

Image quality—customized, optimized, adaptable
Every X-ray imaging solution, big or small benefits from …
| Philips UNIQUE (UNified Image QUality Enhancement) image processing technology. Our algorithm helps assure consistent diagnostic quality images. Image display can be customized to individual preference. Whether sharper (higher contrast) or smoother (lower contrast), UNIQUE adapts to the way you want to see your images displayed. | |
DoseWise, our unique approach to dose management, exploits every possible opportunity to reduce X-ray dose while assisting with optimal diagnostic image quality.
Variofocus technology creates new tailored focal spot sizes. In this way you are always using an object-optimized focal spot and optimum geometric resolution.
