For the BV family, DoseWise includes three highly effective strategies for dose management:

1. Smart Beam
The BV family automatically modifies the x-ray beam's energy spectrum, shape and frequency, giving the impression that the beam is "thinking" for it self, optimally adapting to each examination. The BV family uses unique additional beam filters to block unwanted 'soft' radiation. Skin dose is reduced by more than 40% over conventional systems while maintaining high image quality.
2. Less Time
In the BV family, the DoseWise philosophy ensures that every image is ‘First Time Right’ - thanks to Anatomically Programmed Fluoroscopy settings. Furthermore, the wide range of fluoroscopy modes and Last Image Hold features enable you to reduce the dose by switching the beam off whenever possible.
3. More Awareness
The DoseWise philosophy has driven the development of simple, easy to read controls and reporting – keeping you fully aware of dose levels, keeping you in full control.
