Live 3D Echo is providing cardiologists with new and supplementary data to aid diagnosis and planning. In cooperation with the Erasmus University Hospital Rotterdam, Philips offers Live 3D Echo Training Courses comprising lectures, hands-on workshops, and live patient examinations.
A maximum number of 8 participants working with 5 clinical experts will ensure an intense and effective learning experience.

Objectives:

At the end of this training you will be able to:
- Show and discuss Live 3D Echo images with colleagues and patients
- Understand 3D anatomy of the heart
- Identify pathologic structures in 3D data set acquisitions
- Know how to optimize your images for best 3D data set acquisitions
- Understand data set cropping techniques to get the optimum display of the 3D structures of interest
- Use QLAB 3D quantification software to evaluate LV function: 3D EF and volumes, LV mass, synchronicity and wall motion
- Integrate Live 3D Echo into clinical practice
