Wireless measurement devices

Philips in-home Monitoring

Telemonitoring devices

Philips in-home monitoring devices help patients take a more active role in their health and stay connected to their healthcare providers.

Patients use wireless measurement devices to take their own vital signs and respond to personalized, clinician-directed surveys using the TeleStation – the communication platform that automatically transmits both subjective survey responses and objective measurement results to Philips secure server.

Clinicians can access the web-based Clinical Review Application to view patient data, customize health surveys and use decision-support tools that support effective chronic care management.

Scale

One step onto the scale is all it takes for accurate weight measurement. There are no buttons to push, and weight information is announced audibly (in either English or Spanish) and shown on the elevated LCD display. The standard platform scale is low to the ground for easy on-off access and measures up to 440 pounds. A steady scale for frail patients is available as well.

Blood Pressure/Pulse Unit

Patients adjust the cuff to their arm and push a button. An audible beep communicates that the measurement is complete, and the results are displayed on a large LCD panel: systolic and diastolic blood pressure in mmHg, as well as pulse in beats per minute. Cuffs are available in adult standard and large sizes.

rythm strip recorder

ECG

Compact and lightweight, the rhythm strip recorder includes one-size-fits-all, snap-on wristbands and operates with a single button push. When the light on the recorder goes off and the audible beep stops, the measurement is complete.

Pulse Oximeter

The pulse oximeter measures blood oxygen saturation level (SpO2) as well as pulse in beats per minute. The patient slips on a comfortable finger-clip sensor and presses a single button to activate the unit.

glucose meter interface

Glucometer Connector Cable

The glucose meter interface connects to the TeleStation via a cable connector. It transmits results from a third-party glucose meter, such as the LifeScan One Touch®

Steady Scale

A steady scale with integrated handle bars is available for patients who cannot stand unassisted for the time it takes for an accurate weight measurement, including patients who are frail or have balance issues. In addition, there are easy-to-use controls at top of column, multilingual audio prompts, and it accurately measures up to 440 lbs.
