| The Philips Sidestream CO2 module works with the Mainstream CO2 module and is designed for use with intubated adult and pediatric patients. It provides waveform and numeric values. |
|
|
The Sidestream CO2 module samples an intubated patient’s airway gases through a remote sample line. This places less weight on the patient’s airway adapter and reduces risk of extubation. The remote sample cell is located on the front of the Sidestream CO2 module. From there, data is passed to the Mainstream CO2 module for analysis and display.
