Extended warranty, service and accident protection plans are available from Philips Children's Medical Ventures. Extended warranties provide reassurance that your product is covered if your unit manufacturer warranty is coming to an end. If your warranty has already lapsed, a service agreement allows you to plan expenses and reduce the opportunity for exposure. Accident protection plans cover you for all repairs, including those caused by drops, spills or other mishaps that may occur during normal use. Whatever your service needs, we have a plan that's right for you.

Extended warranty, service and accident protection plans include:

• All service performed using only Philips Children's Medical Ventures approved components
• Free return freight and packaging
• Devices cleaned and factory tested prior to return
• Free use of loaner while unit is being serviced
• Experienced technicians to get the job done quickly and accurately

Extended warranty and service agreements:

Extended warranties provide the same protection as the standard one-year warranty and cover all electrical and mechanical system issues with your BiliTx. For units no longer covered under warranty, a service agreement allows the owner to renew the warranty. After a one-time check, your product will fall back under the full protection of a standard warranty.

Extended warranty and service agreement coverage includes:

• All parts and labor
• Full electrical, mechanical and functional check
• Repair priority (warranty unit repairs are given priority over non-warranty units)
• All required software and component upgrades
• One-year warranty on repairs
• Free use of loaner while unit is being serviced
• Extended warranty for light engine
  — 1 year = up to 25,000 hrs.
  — 2 year = up to 30,000 hrs.
  — 3 year = up to 35,000 hrs.
   

Accident protection

The accident protection program provides a higher level of coverage for your device than coverage under a warranty. It covers incidentals that can occur through normal use, including the following:

• All warranty or service agreement activities
• Drops, falls and other accidental collisions
• Damage caused by liquids spilled into unit
• Replacement of worn or broken parts

Coverage for unit only; panel not included.
*Fee assessed for one-time check (service agreement only).
Damage due to fire, flood, theft, or destruction caused by the use of tools is not covered under any of the programs.
