Philips has acquired Stentor, a leading US-based Radiology PACS supplier.

Stentor, a private company, was founded in 1998 to provide a solution for enterprise-wide medical image and information management. The acquisition fits perfectly in Philips strategy to continuously strengthen its position as a primary supplier of technology to the healthcare industry. Radiology Informatics solutions fully owned by Philips now allow us to address customer and market needs faster.
