Seamless Connectivity

XIRIS easily integrates into new or existing imaging facilities using a versatile HL7 Broker and DICOM Worklist Manager. With its highly developed XMP engine, integration with other radiology/imaging components is seamless. XIRIS offers custom or HL7 connectivity between RIS and HIS, LAB, PACS, VR and billing with worklist synchronization. Also, XIRIS supports Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) functionality.


 

 

RIS <> PACS

Using high-bandwidth connections, radiologists are now able to view their reading worklist from their own home and can simultaneously view the images as well with an integrated PACS. Using XIRIS and any preferred PACS, radiologists can perform all clinical functions just as if they were actually working at the imaging facility. XIRIS will integrate with your current or new technology via HL7, DICOM or proprietary utilities.

RIS <> HIS

If the radiology facility is in a hospital or if you need to interact with a hospital, the best solution to avoid double data entry or lack of communication is to have a solid HL7 or custom integration. XIRIS XMP Engine provides all the necessary tools for inbound and outbound message exchange whether it is in HL7 or a technology of your choice.

RIS <> VR

Even though XIRIS offers embedded voice recognition for dictation, XIRIS can still interface with a pre-existing voice recognition system or a company that does not offer an embedded VR system via HL7 or custom connectivity.

RIS <> LAB Information Systems

XIRIS offers interfaces with hospital lab systems and so can improve efficiencies when required lab results must be checked in the computer, before specific imaging studies can be performed. The results are available in the exam/patient charts, which can eliminate the need for phone calls.

RIS <> EMR

XIRIS can send final reports via the HL7 interface to the Health System's EMR or other medical chart systems.
