Because XIRIS is web-based, report distribution has increased flexibility and speed. A physician can choose to receive reports using auto faxing, printouts or email notifications. Physicians who have chosen email notifications review reports using their web-based access through the Referring Physicians Access Center. Printing costs and staff time are reduced and reports are available on a timely basis without the wait or cost of printing them out.
