XIRIS allows front desk staff to organize their worklist by center, modality, or day of the week. The flexible and intuitive interface allows staff to easily develop their favorite workflow in XIRIS.
From the Confirmation and Mark Arrival window, staff have one-click access to patient medical and exam charts. Because of the versatility of XIRIS, it is easy to find a patient appointment and quicker to scan documents, update insurance information, print labels, and view any required prep files. If there is a need, orders are easily corrected, re-scheduled or even cancelled.
With the new XIRIS Patient Transport feature, staff can record the type of transport and specific, related patient needs so that both radiology transporters and central transporters can improve efficiency. It includes the ability to track when the transporter has gone to get a patient and when a patient has arrived in the department. Staff also has the capability, via notes to inform the transporter what time the department needs a specific patient to arrive.
