XIRIS offers instant messaging allowing XIRIS users to chat with other XIRIS users in real time. Even if a person is offline, you can leave a message. Administrators can broadcast messages to all online users and if any message is urgent, an alert will instantly come up in the recipient's screen to grab his/her attention.
