Technologist
The technologist's worklist improves efficiency by automatically presenting a list of patient exams which are ready to be completed. From this worklist, the technologist has all the pertinent patient data available with a single click. Also, when XIRIS is interfaced with hospital lab systems, the technologist's efficiency is additionally improved as required lab results must be checked in the computer by the technologist before specific imaging studies can be performed.
Transcription
Because XIRIS is a web-based RIS, transcriptionists are freed from the confines of the imaging facility and can transcribe on- or off-site. Using high-bandwidth connections, transcriptionists are now able to view their worklists from their own home and can access voice files and simultaneously view images as well with an integrated PACS. XIRIS also allows for prioritization of stat exams on the transcription worklist.
XIRIS Reading Enviroment
XIRIS 7 introduces XIRIS Reading Environment (XRE). Along with the regular word processing features one expects, transcriptionists can also combine dictation text with images into a variety of report formats and letterheads. Templates and macros are quickly created, organized and used for frequently recurring reports or text blocks.
Radiologist
XIRIS offers radiologists dictation flexibility and exam prioritization as well as seamless integration with their imaging systems. Radiologists and administrators can:
- Manage and distribute the workflow by assigning cases automatically to the radiologists based on customizable rules and profiles.
- Define individual radiologist profiles utilizing speciality, certification, language preferences, schedule availability, modality, body part preferences and reading quotas.
- Provide various options in pre-fetching studies for dictation.
- Automatically prioritize stat exams in the dictation worklist.
- Work in an image-reading environment that includes prior reports, digital documents and easy access to patient information.
- Enjoy seamless integration with iSite Radiology and iSite Enterprise with a single click.
- Choose any of three ways to generate diagnostic reports: Digital Dictation, Speech Recognition and custom templates.
