To calm nervous patients during the introduction of radio-pharmaceuticals, uptake room walls are bathed in a warm colored Ambient Cove Lighting glow and a comfortable chair invites relaxation. A focused task light directly over the chair supports the clinician and minimizes disruption during the injection.
The continuity of experience from uptake to exam room is maintained. Patients entering the exam room select from a variety of room themes by using a touchscreen tablet PC. The selected theme is reflected in an immediate change to the room environment:
