Long exams in a confined space often mean the rate of patient non-compliance is high. Ambient Experience is designed to counter this by soothing and calming the patient.

We’ve developed an immersive experience that provides a positive distraction for your patients. This less intimidating, more patient-friendly approach re-directs attention from the impending exam to an engaging multi-sensorial experience.
Patients gain a sense of control by selecting a theme from a touchscreen tablet PC. Immediately the room is transformed.
- Soft, colored Ambient Cove Lighting washes the walls

- Projected images with accompanying audio excite the senses
Even for those who are claustrophobic, this experience often reduces anxiety so that they can tolerate the exam.
Kids get special attention
For your youngest patients we offer our model KittenScanner, a small replica of the MRI scanner which can help alleviate a child’s concern of the unknown. They can ‘scan’ a toy and trigger an animated story explaining how a scanner works and why it is needed, in terms the child can understand. This knowledge makes the exam experience less frightening. |  |
