These instructional videos were created as a useful tool to help patients who are using the Alice PDx for a home sleep testing study. The three chapters of the videos cover an explanation of OSA, how to set up the Alice PDx in the home, and how to use the Alice PDx with a sleep therapy device.
To assist the patient during home set-up, the Alice PDx portable sleep diagnostic system incorporates color-coded labels located around the perimeter of the device to indicate where to connect the various sensor leads. The display shows the patient only the sensors that need to be connected. The sensor information and indicators help patients place the sensors correctly and reduce the need for retesting due to application errors. A sensor application reference guide is also included with the system. The guide is a color-coded, step-by-step, diagram that walks patients through the appropriate application process.
Through the use of these instructional videos, and patient-friendly features included with the Alice PDx portable diagnostic device, patients have everything they need for an easy-to-use, home sleep testing study.
