As part of producer requirements under the EU Directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment, Article 11 stipulates that “information for treatment facilities” must be provided, within one year after the EEE is put on the market.
Philips Healthcare has made available to reuse centers, treatment and recycling facilities information on the different electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) components and materials, as well as the location of dangerous substances and preparations in EEE.
Recycling Passport
Philips Healthcare has chosen a specific template in which to display this “information for treatment facilities” for each type of EEE placed on the market. This template is called a “Recycling Passport”.
This section serves as the location of “Recycling Passports” and from here, you can select your EEE to retrieve specific information that you may require. “Recycling Passports” may be accessed by business/modality and product name or number, as indicated in the product name and/or number on the EEE itself and the filename for the Passport.
