Easy to use

AcQSim³, our specialized simulation software, and Pinnacle³, our treatment planning platform, offer power and functionality—all with the fewest mouse clicks possible.

Image fusion
Fusing both anatomical and functional data assists with precise localization and simulation. With our Syntegra software, images from CT, MR, PET, and SPECT can be automatically co-registered and imported into radiation planning workstations.

 

Syntegra also offers complete consistency in user interface across workstations with smooth and efficient flow of images and information.


Flexible configurations

You have a number of choices in configuring our simulation and treatment planning solutions.

 

Real-time localization
Starting with our Brilliance Big Bore CT scanner, Tumor Localization On Console (L.O.C.), you have access to localization features directly on the CT console. Most routine localization and markings functions can be completed with the patient on the CT table.

 

Work from anywhere in department
AcQSim³, now with more sophisticated tools, can be a stand alone console, located anywhere in the department. Once reconstructed, CT images are available on the AcQSim³, as it shares a common data base. There’s no waiting for DICOM transfer. You can quickly determine where the tumor is and begin working on simulation right away.

 

Communicate with multi-vendors
With AcQSim³ you can easily export the simulation data to any manufacturer’s treatment planning system via DICOM transfer.

 

Instantaneous Dose optimization
Pinnacle³ offers unmatched flexibility and speed for determining the optimum dose calculations, even when adding beams or changing the prescription in mid plan.

 

Both AcQSim³ and Pinnacle³ use the Sun Microsystems workstation and Solaris operating environment. As a result you can also configure a single integrated workstation, incorporating both AcQSim³ and Pinnacle³ .
