Philips has a simple approach when it comes to AED reliability. Design reliability in. Look for ways to further simplify that design. Build each device with meticulous care. And test it thoroughly before shipping it to our customer. This approach follows from our quality promise which appears in every room of our Seattle, Washington manufacturing facility, and informs the work of every employee:
“We design and build every device as if the life of someone we love depends on it.”
So it’s only natural that our devices come with an outstanding and straight-forward “no-games” standard warranty (Check with your Philips dealer for possible local variations).
- Device: 5 years
- Accessories: 1 year
- Defibrillator pads: Expiration date indicated on pads package
- Standard battery: 4 years from date of installation (when installed by the indicated install-by date and left in standby mode.)
Philips also offers a 2-year extended warranty in United States and Canada, which you can purchase any time during the above device warranty period.
Warranties apply when the product is used and maintained in accordance with labeling and instructions for use.
In the event of a problem, contact your Philips-authorized service representative. They will attempt to resolve the problem remotely. If they are not able to, they will replace your device at no charge.
In the United States, Philips also offers an optional Program Warranty for HeartStart AED Services.
