CT TrueView

3D coronary imaging supports interventional decisions

CT TrueView creates a 3D reconstruction of the coronary vessel tree based on a pre-acquired CT dataset. The 3D model provides a clear visualization of the coronary vessel tree that may help prevent the misrepresentations of vessel length and position that occur with 2D images. This 3D cardiac imaging tool can be used to select the optimal viewing angle without using additional radiation.

Confidence and clarity with advanced coronary imaging

  • 3D cardiac model that provides optimal insight into the structure of the coronary vessel tree based on pre-acquired CT imaging
  • Minimize foreshortening to determine the length of a lesion
  • Determine the location of a bifurcation by correcting for overlapping branches
  • Gain insight into the optimal viewing and working angles for a cardiac intervention
  • X-ray stand moves automatically to selected viewing angle

3D coronary imaging reduces contrast medium and X-ray dose

CT TrueView creates an offline 3D reconstruction of the entire coronary vessel tree all at once, based on CT images acquired before the procedure. No additional radiation or contrast medium is required to select the optimal viewing angle. This cardiac imaging option is available on the extended Philips Brilliance workstation in the CT room. From there the 3D model can be sent to the interventional lab. CT TrueView can be controlled tableside or from the control room in the cath lab.

Efficient workflow and precise positioning with offline 3D cardiac imaging

This offline coronary imaging tool can save time and streamline workflow during interventional procedures. Clinicians can use it before and during procedures to select the optimal viewing angle of the lesion and the right stent length, without having to acquire additional diagnostic images. Once the optimal viewing angle is chosen, the stand automatically moves to that position.
