Our cath lab innovations offer clarity and insight into the most complex interventions.
Image acquisition technologies
The Philips Allura Xper FD family of systems offers a full range of configurations that are designed to meet your application needs and clinical case mix. All products present proven geometry configurations and superb image quality with lower X-Ray dose – features that are only possible with flat detectors and Philips’ patented X-ray tube technology. Plus, all of our systems support all cath lab procedures and can be used to improve efficiency in the cardiology department. We also have developed special features and protocols for each type of cardiology application to help you achieve excellent patient care.

Clinical applications
CT TrueView
By letting you transfer CT volumes from the Philips Brilliance CT to the Allura Xper systems, CT TrueView helps you quickly select the optimal projection angle – without further radiation or contrast in the cath lab – to minimize foreshortening and avoid branch overlap.

Allura 3D-CA
Similar to CT TrueView but now using your own images, Allura 3D-CA creates 3D views from 2D images helps to prevent foreshortened views of lesions. This helps you to better visualize, for example, overlapping branches in bifurcations. You also can access optimal working/viewing angles and determine accurate lesion length.

StentBoost
StentBoost enhances the visualization of stents in coronary arteries by showing the stent in relation to the vessel lumen while the catheter is still in place. StentBoost can assist you with stent placement accuracy in bifurcations, main branch and stent-in-stent. In addition, StentBoost aids in identifying stent cracks, stent tapering and calcified plaque.

Hemodynamic monitoring & charting/logging
With comprehensive hemodynamic monitoring and analysis, Xper Information Management Physiomonitoring 5 captures and integrates critical data at the point of care. User-friendly charting/logging features accurately capture procedure notes throughout the intervention. Instantaneous hemodynamic results and editable coronary and vascular tree images linked to the clinical database streamline information.
