Philips acquires medSage Technologies business

In January, Philips announced the acquisition of the replenishment and compliance service offerings of medSage Technologies. medSage’s industry-leading services make use of a novel voice and email application to help home care providers manage ongoing compliance and supply replenishment for individuals being treated for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), diabetes, respiratory disorders, and other conditions.

Given heightened competitive pressure and reimbursement cuts, the medSage solution helps providers effectively service patients while simplifying replenishment of home care supplies. With this acquisition, Philips reaffirms its commitment to providing homecare providers with innovative solutions to help enhance patient care and foster operational efficiencies and resupply opportunities.

To meet the needs of your patients, we understand that you use products from many manufacturers. The medSage application will continue to support compliance and resupply of patients using supplies manufactured by other companies.


It’s your care model. medSage is simply a tool to help you reach out to patients about their therapy. All contacts by medSage are made using your company name and medSage phone messages are recorded in your own voice.

 

medSage will remain a distinct operating unit of Philips, maintaining confidentiality and security of your patient information and data. Sales and customer service will continue to be provided by the existing medSage customer support team. medSage will continue to develop and enhance its application to support your evolving replenishment and compliance needs.
