Integrating bedside device data with your clinical information system
Philips Device Link II is a plug-and-play solution that collects data from a wide array of bedside devices—urimeters, ventilators, pulse oximeters, patient monitors, infusion pumps, balloon pumps, anesthesia machines, and cardiac output monitors—and transmits it in HL7 format for entry in a clinical information system.
With clinical charting applications, such as Philips CareVue, data from these various devices can automatically populate the patient chart.
Bedside device data easily consolidated
Device Link II features:
- Bedside concentrator is available with 4 or 8 ports
- A single system can handle up to 60 beds with 240 connected devices
- Connections are port-independent, and most devices are automatically recognized—no port configuration, color coding or labeling of connections is required.
- All captured data is converted to HL7 format, which can then be shared with other clinical information systems on the hospital network
An open architecture
Device Link II fits readily into the existing hospital infrastructure and runs on the Microsoft Windows® XP operating system, making installation and maintenance simple and efficient.
