Clinical functionality

ViewForum is made available with a rich set of clinical applications. These include applications such as CT/MR Quantitative Contrast Analysis, Cardiac MR Functional Analysis, MR Quantitative Flow, MR Perfusion Analysis, MR BOLD Analysis, MR Quantitative Magnetization Transfer Analysis, MR Coronary Inspection, and X-ray Vascular Processing.

Built-in viewing intelligence

ViewForum makes work more gratifying and increases efficiency through its intelligent user interface, smart user guidance and efficient stack handling:

• Images from all the supported modalities can be viewed, manipulated and compared in the same environment, providing access to all patient image data.
• Multiple examinations can be viewed simultaneously for comparison (current/previous exams, pre/post contrast scans, etc).
• Display Protocols instantly present any combination of views, triggered by user and role settings or image attributes, such as imaging system or exam type.
• Each image frame can be freely repositioned and resized. Reselecting the Display Protocol returns all frames to their place.
• Complex multi-image-type, multi-station, multi-dynamic and multi-phase MR series can be split, sorted and linked automatically and easily.
• A single mouse click takes you from 2D viewing to Multi Planar Reformat (MPR), Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), and even Volume Renderings. These views can also be instantly rendered as part of the Display Protocol.
• Clinical images are displayed as large as possible. A single mouse click allows the user to toggle between a full screen of images with menu and tool bars and a full screen of images, anatomy-only.
• Rich functionality includes geometry manipulations, visual shutters, windowing, stack and tile viewing, cine, sorting, linking, annotations and measurements.
• All interactions are directly mouse manipulated, guided by visual hinting (cursor changing shape).
• Printing is defined by protocols, allowing manual adjustments where needed.
