Cardiac 3D Quantification Advanced (3DQ Advanced) revolutionizes echo quantification and extends the diagnostic power of Live 3D Echo by providing the first semi-automated, on-cart and off-cart analysis of true LV volumes—using all the voxels to generate a full 3D endocardial border. This is a true 3D border with higher accuracy and less dependency on LV shape assumptions than conventional methods, which rely on sparse view analysis.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3DQ Advanced waveform display provides accurate data for assessing global function based on LV volume, ejection fraction and stroke volume. Additionally, 3DQ Advanced allows simultaneous display of 17 regional waveforms, enabling temporal comparisons between segments. This is a potentially valuable tool for cardiac synchronization studies based on regional timing data and for any investigation of heart failure or ischemic heart disease. The ability to perform objective segmental comparisons may also play a valuable role in assessing the effect of therapeutic or mechanical interventions such as cardiac resynchronization therapy.

 

Results from 3D based LV stroke volume may also offer the possibility for objective aortic valve area assessment. A new parametric imaging display provides you with easy-to-use color-coded representations of regional left-ventricular (LV) segmental Timing and Excursion parameters displayed on the standard AHA/ASE 17-segment bull’s eye display. The parametric display may be used in assisting you to visualize LV regional function in a user-friendly format.
