Consistency and quality drives optimum results
Philips IntelliVue patient monitoring portfolio – for general anesthesia, and SureSigns monitors for lower acuity procedures – are designed to give caregivers a clear view of patient information.
For preoperative, intraoperative, or postoperative applications, our comprehensive monitoring solutions assist in smooth, efficient patient flow.
In surgery, Philips patient monitors provide fast and easy-to-read displays for anesthesiologists to induce patients quickly and effectively. With easy-to-use monitoring, the anesthesiologist can assist the orthopedic surgeon with throughput—so the surgical procedure starts on time, ends on time, and workflow is optimized.
One common look and feel
All Philips monitors are designed to be easy to use, affordable, accurate and reliable. Our "learn one, know them all" philosophy for IntelliVue monitors enables simplicity of operation. Big numerals, full color displays and consistent layout, make transition from one monitor to another an easy task.
Portable and flexible IntelliVue
The IntelliVue family of patient monitors addresses various patient acuity levels and clinical requirements.
- Our IntelliVue MP30 and MP50 patient monitors combine portability and measurement flexibility for intermediate and acute care environments.
- For out of hospital ruggedness, the IntelliVue MP5 offers wired or wireless connectivity.
In surgical cases IntelliVue anesthetic gas modules deliver real-time gas monitoring data to the anesthesiologist— measuring the five most commonly used anesthetic gases, as well as N2O, O2 and CO2. All provide inspiration and expiration values and calculate MAC values.
- The IntelliVue G1 gas module measures the single agent chosen by the clinician.
- The IntelliVue G5 features automatic agent identification and mixed-agent measurement capability.
All IntelliVue monitors are compatible with a range of SpO2 technologies and sensors from Philips, Masimo®, and Nellcor®.
Multi-Measurement Module
The Philips IntelliVue MMS X2 is an enhanced multi-measurement module that can be used with any compatible Philips IntelliVue patient monitor.
Once detached from the host monitor, it is an independent, battery-operated transport monitor with its own display, alarm function and the ability to store up to 24 hours of patient information.
As soon as it is reconnected to another IntelliVue host monitor, the MMS X2 behaves like a conventional multi-measurement module, with stored patient monitoring data being automatically uploaded into the new monitor without interruption in monitoring.
If equipped with wireless networking capability, the MMS X2 can also transmit data directly to the IntelliVue Information Center. This helps create a complete, continuous record of patient monitoring data wherever the patient may go—from emergency room to operating room to ICU and recovery.
Interfaced to share information
When networked and interfaced into the hospital information system, Philips portal software can "window" into the IntelliVue patient monitor images from other Philips and non-Philips applications. For example, in a critical care situation, an archived X-ray of the ribs, or recently acquired lab results, may be overlaid for reference.
IntelliVue networked monitors improve patient management and facilitate case documentation by enabling interaction between various departments.
Versatile and efficient SureSigns
Philips SureSigns VS3 and VM Series monitors provide you with essential information required for preoperative assessment, monitoring during procedural sedation and regional anesthesia, as well as for postoperative recovery and pre-discharge assessments. These light, compact monitors are easy to learn and easy to use.
