Expand your existing Achieva’s RF chain with this upgrade to our MultiTransmit parallel RF transmission architecture. For existing Scantools Pro and Premium users, the upgrade will also equip your system with the latest ScanTools software version, containing new and updated software features and imaging techniques.
After upgrading, your Achieva 3.0T MRI will also be equipped with a minimum of 16 RF receiver channels and a high-end reconstructor to enable the use of new high-channel coils.
Patient-adaptive MRI
First introduced in our Achieva 3.0T TX, MultiTransmit is the world’s first technology featuring multiple RF sources. The RF signals are then adapted to each patient’s unique anatomy, providing enhanced image quality and shorter scan times.
By using multiple RF sources, MultiTransmit addresses dielectric shading and enhances image and contrast uniformity, so imaging results are consistent for every scan and every patient – even for challenging patients.
Furthermore, MultiTransmit reduces local Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) and takes advantage of optimized RF management. This enables you to drive the system harder than before, resulting in increases in scanning speed by up to 40%.
