Developing an Electronic Medical Record

Regional Data Center
That was one of the advantages of the Philips' system. They were able to create a data center that they took care of. That was very important to us. We pay a certain amount per study that includes all of the access to that image as well as the store of that image.

Enterprise Imaging Informatics
Moving away from film, we've cut so many steps out of our processes, from registration right through to an out-patient x-ray, there may have been 50-59 different steps. By implementing the XIRIS/ iSite/ RIS PACS, we have been able to reduce the number of steps to 13 or 14 steps.
