Leading the way
Philips is at the forefront of the industry in its commitment to algorithm development with the addition of the enhanced DXL 12-lead ECG algorithm.
STEMI Decision Support tools to help guide patient care when time is critical
We’ve enhanced our unique Discovery-to-Treatment approach to STEMI to provide you with a broad offering of STEMI Decision Support tools and reliable, cost-effective transmission capabilities.
Philips offers:
- The total STEMI solution from pre-hospital to cardiographs in the emergency department and cath lab solutions, all to benefit more seamless patient care
- Predictive instruments to aid in confident decision making for your patient and your environment, such as the Philips ACI-TIPI predictive instrument for acute cardiac ischemia and the Philips TPI for Thrombolysis
- Philips exclusives, such as the enhanced DXL ECG algorithm with:
• detection of STEMI-Culprit Artery (CA)
• enhanced gender-specific criteria to help recognize and interpret cardiac symptoms in women
• Critical Values to highlight life-threatening conditions requiring immediate clinical attention
It's all about your data
Philips offers EMS an open systems approach to data management and connectivity that lets you manage your workflow as you desire. We offer Periodic Clinical Data Transmission of vitals and waveforms along with the 12-lead ECG, allowing EMS caregivers to send advance notification to the hospital using objective data for a range of critical care patients: trauma, stroke, pediatric, and cardiac, which can foster a higher level of collaboration among pre-hospital and hospital teams.
The same algorithm can be found in our defibrillators, bedside monitors, and cardiographs, which means:
- Seamless integration and a seamless history/trend of the patient's progression via multiple 12-lead ECGs taken through the care cycle
- Cardiologists, nurses, and paramedics all read the same algorithm and have a framework for comparison, instilling confidence in the 12-lead ECG chain
- 12-leads can be stored in the Philips TraceMasterVue ECG Management system. Serial comparison of multiple 12-leads allows the history of the STEMI/AMI patient to be further analyzed
- TraceMasterVue enables viewing, printing and searching of the 12-lead ECGs from anywhere
- Using portal technology on Philips patient monitors, 12-lead ECG reports from any Philips device can be called up at the bedside
