As a busy physician or radiologist you need to read from multiple locations; it may not even be at the same facility each day, yet you always need the same application tools to do your job effectively. IntelliSpace Portal’s thin-client configuration means the applications server does the hard computing. This frees your traditional PC or wireless device to act strictly as a ‘portal’.
Your computer gains remote access to the IntelliSpace Portal applications server over a virtual private network (VPN). You select the relevant application tool and you’re ready for real-time diagnostic analysis. Lossless compression techniques assure the image quality displayed is not affected by network speed fluctuations.
