Answers:

Q1: What’s the difference between a Preferred Room Layout, a Preliminary Drawing, and a Final Drawing?

The room layout shown on a Preferred Room Layout is generic and serves as an example or preferred room layout. A Preliminary Drawing shows a site-specific layout, but it only includes an abbreviated set of system requirements and no system details.

The Final Drawing is site specific and contains the necessary details for site preparation.

A preliminary drawing is also referred to as a 'Site Layout Proposal.'

A final drawing is also referred to as a 'Site Pre-Installation Drawing.'

Q2: I can’t find the information on the specific system that I’m looking for. What do I do now?

Please contact your local Philips representative. You may be looking for information on a Legacy System (equipment that Philips no longer sells as a new system), or you may be looking for information on a system that is so new that the site planning support documents are still under development. In either case, your local Philips representative can help locate the information that you’re looking for.

Q3: Why is there no Preferred Room Layout for Medical IT systems?

Because there is no standard Medical IT system. Each site is a unique combination of standard components that has been put together to best meet the needs of that specific customer.
