The IntelliVue MMS X2 is environmentally improved in 3 green focal areas: 52% reduction in power during use, 59% reduction in product weight and 30% reduction in packaging weight. The environmental impact, measured with the EcoScan tool, is reduced by 43%.

| The BP10-5ec Ultrasound Transducer, intended to provide imaging of the Prostrate, Rectal Wall and associated structures, is designed to have perfect acoustic performance and improved environmental characteristics. Relative to the predecessor the BP-TRT P/N 2100-1843-01, a weight reduction of 46% was achieved by providing the biplane capability with only a single system connector. In addition, significant weight reduction in the packaging of 66% was achieved. The environmental impact over the whole product life cycle, measured with EcoScan, is reduced by 32%. | IntelliVue Telemetry System Cluster AP | | The Cluster AP IntelliVue TelemetrySystem consists of a core Access Point (AP) unit with 2 remote antennas. It was designed to be a low cost option for the customer. It provides the same extended coverage as 3 AP units used together, but the remote antennas are much lighter and more energy efficient than the AP unit itself. Relative to the predecessor Core AP 1.4 GHz, a 48% reduction in product weight, a 62% reduction in energy usage and a 76 % reduction of the weight of packaging materials was achieved. The environmental impact over the whole product life cycle, measured with EcoScan is reduced by 64%. |
